The success of our Marvins 'Home Finder' Dashboard Widget, now available for download from the Apple website, has resulted in web design / development and technology enquiries from a whole new potential client group.

Created by the most junior member of the wight365 technical team, the widget collects up-to-the-minute property data from the popular Isle of Wight based, Marvins, Estate Agents, and displays the information in an easily accessible format. The greatest benefit to home buyers is the availability of the information without the need to constantly check in on the Marvins website to monitor properties new to the market.

The online 'home finder' is also available for PC owners as a Windows Desktop Toy and can be downloaded by clicking the link provided below.

The widget displays the property reference number, price, location, date added to the database, photograph and brief property description - an available link then takes the user off to the Marvin's website for more detailed information on the illustrated home.

Our webstats show, not only an increased growth in web traffic to the Marvins website, but also an increase in enquiries via their online contact form.

What started as a small research project has reaped benefits way beyond expectation for the online profile of both our client and ourselves. There is no doubt that the use of freely downloadable technologies like the Marvins widget represents a marketing and promotional opportunity for any company wishing to increase their website traffic and internet business.
